Personal Experience & Biography
As a registered clinical psychologist (MAHPC(CP)00648), I believe in working together with my clients in a way that respects their autonomy and values what truly matters to them. I take a compassionate and collaborative approach, drawing mainly from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) to help clients build practical tools and gain meaningful insights into their challenges. I always tailor my approach to fit each person’s unique needs and goals.
Before becoming a clinical psychologist, I spent two years as a behavioural therapist, supporting neurodivergent children and teens in making steady, meaningful progress. Wanting to expand my skills and knowledge in mental health, I went on to complete a Master’s in Clinical Psychology. Through my clinical training in both government and private settings, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals across all stages of life—from children and adolescents to adults from a variety of cultural backgrounds.
My experience includes supporting people with a wide range of mental health concerns, such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, PTSD, and self-harm. I’ve also conducted assessments for neurodevelopmental conditions like autism and ADHD, and supported clients with everyday challenges like stress and major life transitions.
As a therapist, my role is to walk alongside you—as a supportive and collaborative guide—as you navigate your journey toward healing, growth, and self-empowerment. Together, we’ll work at a pace that feels right for you, always grounded in your values and your sense of autonomy.
