Personal Experience & Biography
I am a clinical psychologist registered with the Malaysian Society of Clinical Psychology (CP1-0281). Regardless of whether individuals struggle with emotional, behavioral, relational, or other mental health difficulties, I am dedicated to assisting them as best as I can. While I am predominantly trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy, I often incorporate creative methods to assist my clients in expressing their difficult feelings.
Aside from my clinical role at private practice, I also work with the underprivileged and disenfranchised refugee communities who have undergone trauma and adaptive stress. This experience has strengthened my ability to relate to individuals from diverse backgrounds, in addition to being culturally mindful of societal differences which helps me to better assist clients with varying needs.
In therapy sessions with clients, it matters the most to me to provide a safe avenue for clients to narrate their stories, relieve their pain, gain new insights as well as find adaptive ways to cope with life.
