Personal Experience & Biography

“Life Is hard” can be an understatement sometimes. As a clinical psychologist that has experienced my fair share of challenges, I am deeply curious towards the unique stories that make up each individual, and equally passionate about helping people come closer to who they’d like to be.

My clinical training in government and private settings has allowed me to work well with people from diverse ages and walks of life. During this process, I’ve partnered with individuals and families struggling with various psychological disorders, including depression and anxiety, self-harm, PTSD and complex trauma, eating disorders, personality disorders, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, OCD, ADHD, autism, and substance abuse. I also offer support on day-to-day struggles such as stress, grief, anger, body image, self-esteem, and relationship conflict.

I adopt a nuanced approach, primarily drawing from cognitive behavioural, acceptance, and mindfulness-based therapies (CBT, ACT, DBT) with emphasis on whether it fits your needs. My therapy style is rooted in warmth and empathy, where sometimes I am lucky to share a laugh with my clients. I find that this kind of environment best creates safety and trust to navigate the depths of you, as we jointly uncover hidden maps and practical tools for your lifelong journey. Because you hold the greatest insight into your story, my role is to meet you where you are, and help you chart a course towards fulfilment.
