Personal Experience & Biography
I am a registered clinical psychologist (CP1-0311) and I mainly work with adolescent and adult clients who struggle with different mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma, social and interpersonal issues. I adopt Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a main treatment modality, but I also integrate different therapy approaches depending on the needs of my clients.
Prior to becoming a clinical psychologist, I worked closely with special needs children. My experience with them has taught me to be non-judgemental, patient and creative in treatment planning. With a strong passion to improve community mental health, I have also been working with refugees and underprivileged adolescents. This experience has shaped me to be a more compassionate therapist, to which I learned to communicate more effectively with my clients of different cultures.
I believe that each individual has the capacity to improve their well-being. As a therapist, I provide appropriate interventions and support to systematically assist my clients in understanding their issues and expand their coping skills. I look forward to work collaboratively with you to obtain the best outcome from therapy.
